Priority setting

IA2030 goals are designed to inspire action for implementation and support efforts to improve health security, universal health coverage, access and equity for immunization and innovation. For countries, this could mean setting country-specific targets and milestones for the decade toward those goals.
In resource-constrained settings, an increasingly compelling rationale will be needed to ensure that the priorities set by countries are aligned with country needs, including the introduction of new vaccines within immunization programs, over and above many other priorities.
WHO supports countries with priority setting by developing normative guidance and tools that support countries with making transparent and evidence-informed decisions.
