The Fourteenth Pacific Health Ministers Meeting was hosted by Tuvalu on 22–24 March 2022 with support from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Pacific Community (SPC).

The Fourteenth Pacific Health Ministers Meeting was hosted by Tuvalu on 22–24 March 2022, with support from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Pacific Community (SPC). It was held as a fully virtual event for the first time due to the ongoing coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

The meeting focused on four main agenda items:

  1. Leveraging the COVID-19 pandemic to build sustainable systems and advance universal health coverage (UHC)
  2. Accelerating action on noncommunicable diseases (NCDs)
  3. Putting health at the centre of the climate change discussion
