Applying communication for health: planning guide
Planning guide
Overview
The aim of this planning guide is to support the design of health communication interventions to ensure they are as impactful as possible. It guides users to follow the six-step C4H cycle —
- understand;
- plan;
- develop;
- test;
- implement;
- evaluate and learn
— through a series of questions.
While not exhaustive, these questions when answered will help ensure that the communication intervention is evidence based, impact driven and targeted. Not all answers may be available at once, but when preparing answers, be as precise as possible.
