合作开发COVID-19疫苗的公开声明

声明

2019年12月31日,世界卫生组织(世卫组织)获悉,在中国湖北省武汉市发现一组不明原因的肺炎病例。中国当局于2020年1月7 日将SARS-CoV-2确定为该病的致病病毒,世卫组织于2020年2月11日将这一疾病命名为2019冠状病毒病(COVID-19)。作为疫情应对的一部分,世卫组织启动了一项研发蓝图,以加快这种新型冠状病毒的诊断制剂、疫苗和治疗方法的开发。

在世卫组织的协调下,一个具有不同背景的专家组正在努力开发COVID-19疫苗。

该专家组呼吁所有人遵循用来防止COVID-19病毒传播以及保护个人健康的建议。同时感谢每个人对科学界的信任。

我们是科学家、医生、资助者和生产商。在世界卫生组织(世卫组织)的协调下,我们作为国际合作的一部分共同努力,促进加快获得COVID-19疫苗。虽然开发出通用疫苗需要时间,但疫苗最终可能有助于控制这场全球大流行。在此期间,我们欢迎采取社区干预措施,以减少病毒传播,保护包括弱势群体在内的人们,并承诺将利用通过广泛采取这类措施所赢得的时间来尽快开发疫苗。我们将继续努力加强已经在进行的前所未有的全球协作、合作和数据共享。我们相信这些努力将有助于减少效率低下和重复劳动问题,我们将不懈努力,提高在未来不久向所有人提供一种或多种安全有效疫苗的可能性。
