Deepavali celebrations this year will be unlike any other. As COVID-19 continues to spread, it’s better to #StayHome and avoid gatherings for a healthy and #SafeDeepavali.

A clean environment will ensure that your Deepavali celebrations are kept healthy and safe. Frequently clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in your house and keep your space well-ventilated.

During the Deepavali celebrations, regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer. If you have guests at home, make sure that hand hygiene supplies are accessible for everyone.

#WearAMask at all times as you celebrate #SafeDeepavali with your loved ones. Make sure the mask covers your nose, mouth and chin and practice hand hygiene before you put your mask on, as well as before and after you take it off.

Maintain at least 1-meter physical distancing throughout your Deepavali celebration. Keeping safe distance will reduce the risk of #COVID19 infection.

Let’s keep up with traditions during Deepavali while making sure we do not expose our elderly or those with health conditions to #COVID19. If you’re feeling sick, #StayHome and do not risk spreading illness to your loved ones.
