Workshop to administer Tracking AMR Country self-assessment Survey (TrACSS) held

Kathmandu, Bagmati Province - The Quality Standards and Regulation Division, Ministry of Health and Population, with support from WHO Country Office for Nepal, conducted a one-day multi-sectoral consultation workshop to administer the eighth round of the Tracking AMR Country Self-Assessment Survey (TrACSS). 37 stakeholders from human health, animal health, food sector, plant health, environment sector, WHO, FAO and FHI 360 involved in Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) participated in the TrACSS annual self-assessment survey designed to monitor country progress in the implementation of the national action plan on AMR. Participants discussed on the country progress on AMR response, collated required information and supporting documents for the survey and identified areas that require intensified efforts. The survey data will now be submitted to the global TrACSS platform for analysis, which will help identify countries needing additional support.
