HeRAMS Ukraine Status Update Snapshot March 2024 (Ukrainian version)

The Health Resources and Services Availability Monitoring System (HeRAMS) aims to provide decision-makers and health stakeholders with vital, up-to-date information.  This system is dedicated to monitoring the availability of critical health resources and services, thus playing a crucial role in identifying existing gaps and establishing intervention priorities.   

HeRAMS has been operational in Ukraine since November 2022. This current report provides a high-level summary of the up-to-date status of health facilities within Ukraine, focusing on the availability of essential services and the challenges impeding access to these services. A more comprehensive and in-depth version of this report can be accessed here (English version, Ukrainian version). It is important to note that the deployment of HeRAMS is ongoing, including data verification and validation. Therefore, this analysis is not final and is produced solely to inform operations. 

The findings presented in this report are derived from data collected between November 2023 and March 2024. this comprehensive dataset includes 11 602 records, which encompass information from over 2300 public health facilities and more than 9000 health service delivery units across various oblasts, including Kyivska, Chernihivska, Sumska, Kharkivska, Donetska, Dnipropetrovska, Zaporizka, Mykolaivska, Odeska, Khersonska, Zhytomyrska, Vinnytska, Cherkaska, Poltavska, Khmelnytska, Rivnenska, Kirovohradska, Volynska, Lvivska, Ternopilska, Chernivetska, Ivano-Frankivska, Zakarpatska, and Kyiv City. 

HeRAMS is instrumental in addressing immediate healthcare needs and contributes to long-term planning and recovery efforts in Ukraine.
