
Webinar Series: Protecting Health Through Life Course during Covid 19 Pandemic
COVID-19 pandemic is placing extraordinary strain on the health system in the countries. In addition to directly affecting women, children adolescents and older people by infection with the virus, the pandemic response to the pandemic has posed serious risk of disruption of essential health and nutrition services for women, children, adolescents and these population in the countries of our Region.
WHO-SEARO with the collaboration of the Indian Institute of Public health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) has organised a series of technical webinars to share and discuss health issues covering the life-course during the COVID-19 pandemic. Eminent global and regional experts and programme officers from ministries of health in the region have been invited to share the evidence, strategies and experience on various issues. The target audience includes MOH programme officers, members of academia, partners, professional associations and others.
