Sixth Pacific Health Ministers Meeting
Apia, Samoa (2005)
The Sixth Pacific Health Ministers Meeting was held in Apia, Samoa on 14–17 March 2005. The meeting was hosted by the Government of Samoa with support from WHO and the Pacific Community (SPC).
The meeting provided an opportunity for health ministers to look back at a decade of progress towards the Healthy Islands vision and address the double burden of noncommunicable and communicable diseases as well as challenges in human resources for health in the Pacific.
