HeRAMS Ukraine verification snapshot: January - April 2024

Overview

The Health Resources and Services Availability Monitoring System (HeRAMS) aims to provide decision-makers and health stakeholders with vital, up-to-date information.  This system is dedicated to monitoring the availability of critical health resources and services, thus playing a crucial role in identifying existing gaps and establishing intervention priorities.

Operational since November 2022, HeRAMS Ukraine supports decision-makers in identifying immediate healthcare needs while also contributing to long-term planning and recovery efforts. To ensure the data quality and reliability of HeRAMS, a data verification process has been initiated, with the expectation of assessing 528 randomly selected health facilities over a 12-month period. The following report is the second update from this ongoing verification effort, based on data gathered from 177 health facilities between January and April 2024.

It is important to note that the deployment of HeRAMS is ongoing, including data verification and validation. Hence, this analysis is not final and was produced solely for the purpose of informing operations.
