Personalized Food Prescriptions is an at-home system that enables users to print off a medicinal bar with the supplements, medicines or vaccines needed to optimize their health. Software senses what the user may need and instructs them to refill the printer with specifically formulated liquids like antifungal apple, supplement satsuma or vaccine vanilla, which is then printed into a convenient, tasty health bar.

Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) | 1969

First used in 1969, Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) were approved, recommended, and distributed by UNICEF and WHO. These salts have been vital in replacing fluids lost due to illness, saving and improving the lives of millions worldwide suffering from dehydration.

Xiu receives an alert from her Personalized Food Prescriptions software. It notifies her that several people nearby have tested positive for COVID-46. Concerned, she uses her home diagnostic device to get tested. Moments later, Xiu is relieved to receive a notification confirming she has tested negative. The software updates her daily food prescription to include specific preventative treatments she needs to decrease her chances of catching the virus. She opens her cupboard, revealing shelves full of colourful cylinders containing different flavoured medical treatments. As instructed, she reaches for vaccine vanilla delighted to see a full bottle in stock. The printer begins to hum, filling the air with a sweet aroma as it extrudes vanilla flavoured covid preventers. Soon, her health bar is complete, and she begins to snack herself back to health, confident she has taken the necessary steps to protect herself.
